Secure Data Technologies has an immediate opening on its Lifecycle Team. The Renewals Specialist partners with customers to ensure their IT environment is properly licensed and supported. The renewals specialist uses a variety of tools to ensure customers receive maximum value from their IT solutions, ultimately tracking licensing and support contracts to their expiration dates. Prior to expiration, the Renewals Specialist assists customers with determining their renewal needs and assists customers with renewing their existing solutions. The Renewals Specialist may also engage with Secure Data’s Sales Team to help customers explore alternative solutions. The ideal candidate is highly detailed, curious, analytical, and enjoys working with both data and people to identify and successfully resolve business challenges.

Comfortable learning about the latest offerings in the information technology industry.

Excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively with a variety of personality types, both in person and through phone and email.

Strong mathematics ability, including the ability quickly convert between time periods (monthly vs. annually) and units of measure.

JOB DUTIES (not all-inclusive)

  • Assist with preparing proposals for software, license, and support renewals.
  • Ensure all customer contract terms are completely and accurately documented.
  • Assist Secure Data engineers and customers by quickly identifying and communicating licensing and software information during time-sensitive projects.
  • Along with the Lifecycle team, ensure all software, license, and support renewal opportunities are identified addressed.
  • Review orders processed by third parties, and where necessary, resolve all inaccuracies.
  • Communicate renewal opportunities to account managers and assist with sales communication where necessary.
  • Identify and communicate areas for internal and external process improvement.
